FBI director Kash Patel has been accused of prioritising social activities, including jet skiing and football matches, over official meetings with international intelligence partners, according to a report in The New York Times.
A senior FBI executive told the NYT that the Indian-origin director showed a lack of interest in office‑based meetings while attending a secret Five Eyes Conference in May. This meeting is a gathering of the top intelligence agencies from the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia and New Zealand.
