BENGALURU: Sleuths from Criminal Investigation Department (CID) on Thursday arrested another Bengaluru-based candidate who had cleared the now tainted police sub-inspector exam last year. Sources say the accused, identified as Raghavendra GC, was picked up from a house near Kumbalagodu, off Mysuru Road.
Raghavendra is accused no 22 in the FIR registered by CID police at High Grounds police station in Bengaluru on April 30. He was arrested after a report from the Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) confirmed carbon copies of his optical marks recognition (OMR) sheets were found to be tampered with. Sources say Raghavendra had scored 144 marks out of 200.
