BENGALURU: Amid talk of a shortage of doctors and the need to increase the intake of various courses, postgraduate medical aspirants in Karnataka have been deprived of 112 Diplomate of National Board (DNB) seats after the state government transferred them to All India Quota (AIQ).
These seats were among the 146 seats available in the AIQ mop-up, counselling for which was stayed by the Supreme Court as the same were not available during the second round of counselling.
