Karnataka govt drops all charges against five foresters who allowed illegal work

BENGALURU: The government has dropped all charges against five forest officials who had allowed work inside a wildlife sanctuary in violation of laws.

Turning a blind eye to the forest department’s chargesheet pointing to the lapses, the government restored their eligibility for promotions and post-retirement benefits.
