Karnataka: Entry fee for walkers at Chitradurga Fort draws flak

Chitradurga Fort ASI A Narayanaswamy the Archaeological Survey of India

CHITRADURGA: The Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) has started collecting entry fee of Rs 50 per month from morning walkers at the famous Chitradurga fort. It is issuing pass for 6 months by collecting Rs 300.

However, local residents are opposing it and have approached the district administration and union minister A Narayanaswamy, who represents Chitradurga Lok Sabha constituency.
