Karnataka: Dissolving committee is an eyewash, restore old books, says activists & writers

BENGALURU: Activists, educationists, writers and students, who have been opposing the revised textbooks, on Saturday termed the process of dissolving the Rohith Chakrathirtha Committee an "eyewash" and stuck to to their demand of getting the old textbooks restored.

They pointed out that the government was trying to address concerns of only two groups - Lingayat and Vokkaliga seers - while the points raised by the rest of the sections are unattended.
