Karnataka DGP Praveen Sood appointed as CBI Director

Praveen Sood CBI Karnataka Central Bureau of Investigation Department of Personnel and Training DoPT IPS

Karnataka Director General of Police (DGP) Praveen Sood was appointed the new Director of the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on May 14, according to a Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) order.

The key appointment will see Mr. Sood at the helm of affairs of the premier investigating agency during the 2024 general elections.
