Karnataka: Arebhashe dictionary to be released on July 30

MANGALURU: The work on an Arebhashe dictionary is complete, and the Karnataka Arebhashe Samskruthi and Sahitya Academy will release the dictionary on July 30.

The book has about 18,000 words, and the initiative was led by Vishwanath Badikana, assistant professor, Kannada, St Aloysius College, and a member of the academy. The dictionary is titled ‘Arebhashe Padakosha-Arebase Kannada-English Dictionary’.
