A restaurant known for its rude staff will be opening more than 40 minutes away from Nottingham this summer. A pop up Karen's Diner will be opening on Friday, June 2, and will be providing an immersive experience like no other as eating there is not for the faint of heart.
The diner, which will be opening in Leicester opposite the Curve Theatre, trades off the obnoxious nature of supposed 'Karens' and their tendency to complain. Customers should expect rude service but amazing food, which includes dirty American burgers, fries, shakes as well as cocktails, reports Leicestershire Live.
Customers will be encouraged to “sit down and shut up” as Karen’s provides “turbulent service” and singing waiters.

Visitors have also been warned of regular guest appearances from the manager, who is described as being “the biggest Karen of them all”. There will also be vegetarian, vegan and non-alcoholic options too, but the bosses say Karen will not be happy about it.
A Karen’s Diner spokesperson said: “Don't miss out on this great food but awful service! You're in for a horrendously good time but whatever you do, don't ask for a refund!”
Families are welcome to attend the diner, but only before 7pm as the rudeness ups a notch after that. People are also warned that karma comes on the menu for anyone who dares be rude to Karen.
The pop-up runs until Sunday, September 24. More information and tickets can be found online.
