During his testimony, David Pecker revealed that Karen McDougal expressed her desire for the story about her alleged affair with Donald Trump to remain unpublished. Pecker stated that McDougal was adamant about not wanting to be compared to Monica Lewinsky and instead wanted to focus on restarting her career.
Pecker's testimony sheds light on McDougal's perspective and sheds doubt on the notion that she sought public attention or notoriety from the alleged affair. By expressing her concerns about being likened to Lewinsky, McDougal's motivations appear to have been more focused on protecting her reputation and moving forward professionally.
