Karen Elizabeth Carabajal has taken to social media to issue a message of thanks to all those that supported her in her quest to beat Katie Taylor.
Carabajal came into Saturday night's contest undefeated. That streak came to an end later that evening, as Taylor dominated the Argentinian for 10 two-minute rounds.
The judge's scorecards didn't make great reading for the 32-year-old, with all three awarding 'The Bray Bomber' a landslide unanimous decision victory. Despite the disappointing defeat, Carabajal was left feeling nothing but gratitude for the opportunity handed to her by one of the greatest fighters of all time.

"I want to thank all the people who accompanied me along this path and helped me get to this opportunity!" begins Carabajal's Instagram post.
