Kim Kardashian and her sisters attended the Met Gala last year and for the first time the siblings, Kourtney, Khloe, Kendall and Kylie, were all in attendance at the iconic fashion event held by Vogue.
Anna Wintour, the Vogue Editor-in-Chief, oversees the guest list for the annual fashion celebration which sees celebrities flaunt their breathtaking and daring fashion choices on the red carpet.
But in the latest shake-up, it has been reported that the famous Hollywood stars may have not even "made the cut" for this year's guest list as Vogue Editor-In-Chief Anna is "cracking down" on guests.
Anna has reportedly been "cracking down on the guests at the annual fashion fete and no Kardashians will make the cut" according to Page Six.
A source close to the Kardashian-Jenner clan has however told the publication the claims are "not true."
Kim, 42, attended her first Met Gala back in 2013 with her former husband Kanye West while she was pregnant with their first child North.
The Express reported how she wrote about the experience on Twitter in 2019: "I didn’t know anyone [and] I’m sure no one wanted me there.
"I went home [and] cried out of insecurity."
But since then her appearances have taken her to new heights, rocking a variety of fashion names including Givenchy, Lanvin, Roberto Cavalli, Balmain, Vivienne Westwood, Versace and Balenciaga.
Although her most iconic appearance could be argued to be last year's event when she sported the vintage Marilyn Monroe number which saw her wear the dress the late Hollywood star wore in 1962.
But it didn't go down so smoothly at the time, as we previously reported how mum-of-four Kim had been blasted by a Marilyn Monroe collector, who claimed that “permanent damage” has been caused to the gown which she had taken out on loan.
Her sisters Khloe and Kourtney had attended the gala for the first time last year with 2022 marking the first time the showbiz family were on the red carpet together as a family.
Kim boasted the "first design in 20 years" from the late fashion designer Thierry Mugler in her 2019 appearance when she arrived in the shimmering flesh-coloured dress that hugged her hourglass figure.
Her 2021 appearance after the coronavirus pandemic saw her shock people in an all-black Balenciaga bodysuit with a long train and a black mask that covered her entire head.
The Express has contacted Vogue and Anna Wintour's representatives for comment but Vogue refused to comment when Page Six reached out.
