Kourtney Kardashian has admitted it "would be nice" to quit reality TV, as fans of The Kardashians have been left disappointed by major problems in the latest series.
Viewers are deciding to turn off from the Hulu series in droves after hitting out at the "unauthentic" drama and slamming the show as "not entertaining anymore".
Amid the scathing reviews, 43-year-old Kourtney has taken to TikTok to share her plans for a possible retirement.
Posting a video on her Lemme account, the Poosh founder read through social media comments about her family, the first one being: "Can the Kardashians just retire?"
Kourtney replied with a shrug, adding: "That would be nice."
As Kourtney admitted she would like to leave reality TV behind, fans took to Reddit to share their thoughts on how the famous family "are becoming a little useless in pop culture".
One user posted: "I love them but think about it…. The show isn’t authentic anymore (or even enjoyable), their drama isn’t entertaining it's just sad now."
They added: "I feel like they still exist cause people need something to complain about (aka this post)."
Fans agreed in the comments, with one person writing: "I was obsessed for so many years. From day one. A secret fan of all fans. I was always like, 'I don’t care, I still love them.'
"And now it's more like I just don't care. I woke up one day and just wasn’t as interested. Weird."
A third person added: "They definitely exist more because of the people that hate them than the 'fans' now."
Another pointed out how regardless of the show's popularity, the Kardashians have done "incredible" work to achieve their success.
"I think they still are in the spotlight, but also if and when they do decline, it should be acknowledged their position and success has been incredible.
"Nothing lasts forever and they should be able to live in a terrific fashion the rest of their lives. Their relevancy has lasted a long time and started from a sex tape and a reality show on e network, I mean, incredible," they wrote.
Despite fans sharing their disappointment at the show, Kim Kardashian confirmed there will be another series as she gave fans a sneak peak.
Taking to Instagram last month, the mum-of-four shared a snap sowing a filming monitor as she sat in a chair seemingly shooting a confessional scene.
A premiere date is yet to be confirmed, but production is thought to have started in October last year.
