Karamoko Dembele was delighted to be reunited with his "brother" from Celtic as he caught up with Christopher Jullien ahead of Montpellier vs Brest.
The pair left Parkhead for France in the summer with Jullien making himself a regular in the Montpellier team after failing to break into the Celtic side under Ange Postecoglou. Dembele also departed in search of first-team action and while he's yet to start in Ligue 1, there have been moments of promise off the bench with the diminutive winger easing his way in.
They did battle over the weekend and it was Jullien's team who ran out 3-0 winners, with the towering centre-back starting while his former teammate was used as a late substitute. Before they went toe-to-toe, though, it seems they had a chance to reminisce about their time at Celtic Park as they were snapped chatting on the pitch before the pre-match warm-ups.
Jullien shared the pic saying it was "nice to see" his old Celtic pal and Dembele shared that onto his own story with the caption "my brother" and a handshake emoji for good measure. Jullien and Montpellier face Troyes on Sunday while struggling Brest have a nightmare run coming up as they will face Monaco, Lille and PSG in their next four games.
