Kanye West 'trying too hard' as he treats girlfriend Julia and her pals to Birkin bags

Kanye West is reportedly "trying too hard" in his new relationship with girlfriend Julia Fox.

The 44-year-old rapper, who legally changed his name to "Ye", appeared to make a very over the top gesture to the actress and "at least ten of her pals" in recent days, as he splurged on Birkin bags for the group.

The bags are said to be worth $30k (£22k) each.
