Kanye West 'throws woman's phone' in heated row at North's basketball game

Kanye West is reportedly the subject in a police battery investigation after allegedly "throwing woman's phone" at his kid's basketball game on Friday.

The 45-year-old rapper and dad-of-four is alleged to have thrown the woman's phone out of her hand after he asked to not be filmed.

Kanye was said to be attending the match with his new wife Bianca Censori, with the pair keeping the distance from his ex Kim Kardashian who was also in attendance.

According to a video, Kanye was leaving his eldest daughter North's basketball game when he was being followed by people filming him.

It's not known if the woman was paparazzi or a fan.

Kanye allegedly got out of his car and approached the woman who was filming from inside a vehicle.

While he was being filmed, Kanye said: "You didn’t have to run up on me like that. If I say stop, stop with your cameras!"

The woman reportedly tried to argue that she could film him due to him being a celebrity before the rapper allegedly reached into the car to grab the phone off of the woman before throwing it away.

According to TMZ ‘s police sources, deputies from the Ventura County Sheriff’s Department were called to the scene at around 4:30pm and were given video evidence of the incident.

They reported that the woman was photographed leaving the sheriff’s department and talking to police officers.

Kanye has since been named as a suspect in a battery investigation according to TMZ.

However, it seems that Kanye asked someone else to stop filming him as well that same day.

In another part of the video Kanye pulled up in front of a group of paps who were capturing the entire incident on camera.

Kanye said: "You want me to be running up on your kids’ games like that?"

However they tried to defend themself by saying "there’s a hundred of us."

Kanye added: "Everybody needs to stop when I see my kids. If I need to see my kids, you can’t photograph me. It’s called human rights."

The paparazzi explained that they could film the star due to being in a public area.

The star simply stared for a few seconds before driving away with his new flame Bianca Censori in the passenger seat.

The Mirror have contacted Kanye's reps for comment.

Kanye's ex wife Kim Kardashian was also at the match with basketball star Tristan Thompson.

Kim and her family have been supporting Tristan after the death of his beloved mum this month.
