Kanye West will no longer headline Coachella later this month after the rapper reportedly pulled out of his scheduled performance.
The 44-year-old musician was set to take to the big stage alongside fellow rapper Travis Scott, but it's now been said that both will not be in attendance.
The star, now legally known as Ye, is said to want to stay out of the public eye following a host of online outbursts towards estranged wife Kim Kardashian and her new beau Pete Davidson.
A source told Page Six it's likely The Weeknd will now take his headlining spot.
They said: "Kanye has definitely pulled out of Coachella. He hasn’t been rehearsing or putting on a production. Travis Scott was supposed to be joining him onstage.
"Now it would be virtually impossible for him to get it together. Look for The Weeknd to replace him."
The insider added: "Kanye is backing out because he wants to stay out of the public eye after all the drama with Kim and Pete, he wants to get help."
Kanye was originally set to be be one of the headliners for the huge music festival in Los Angeles between April 5 and April 24 alongside Billie Eilish, Harry Styles and Swedish House Mafia.
But now - and following pressure for the event to remove him from their list, including 50,000 petition signatures - he has taken it upon himself to take a step back.
Following Kanye's very public outbursts, he received a 24-hour Instagram ban for his racist tirade towards Trevor Noah last month.
He has yet to post on the social media platform again since.
A spokesperson for the Instagram told TMZ at the time that the Gold Digger singer had violated the company's policies on hate speech, harassment and bullying with his latest outbursts.
Kanye, who split from Kim, 41, in February last year had also sent a barrage of abuse to ex Kim's new man Pete in the weeks before his ban and labelled him "Skete".
Among his other outrageous lashings out, Kanye claimed he feared the Saturday Night Live comedian, 28, could lead to the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star getting "hooked on drugs".
Ye and Kim share kids North, Saint, Psalm and Chicago, and the singer wrote on Instagram : "Im really concerned that SKETE [his nickname for Pete] will get my kids mom hooked on drugs He’s in rehab every 2 months."
He wrote that alongside a screenshot of a fan comment, which read: "The way Skete used Kim's marital status too address Kanye was a sneak diss towards her & she didn't even catch it" [sic].
