Kanye West broke his social media silence on Monday - on what is the eve of his wedding anniversary to ex-wife, Kim Kardashian.
The 44-year old took to Instagram to announce a collaboration with McDonald's.
Alongside an image of a square-shaped box in the design of a hamburger, his caption read: "Ye teams up with legendary Muji industrial designer Naoto Fukasawa to reimagine McDonald's packaging."
The star also posted a separate image to his story on the social media platform, which included the caption: "Next week it's the fries."
Fans and celebrities alike were quick to respond with the post, which racked up 13,000 replies and almost 900,000 likes in just three hours.
Fellow rapper Thomas Iannucci wrote: "He's back! Gotta say though, Ye making his Instagram return with a post about McDonald’s was not what I was expecting for his comeback lol."
Musician Lil Boom added: "Bring back mighty wings, Ye."
A third user replied: "After starving us for 3 months, we’ll take McDonalds!"
Kanye married Kim at a ceremony in Florence Italy on May 24, 2014.
The pair, who share four children - North, eight, Saint, six, Chicago, four, and Psalm, three - divorced in February 2021 after seven years of marriage.
Kim, 41, has since started dating comedian and actor Pete Davidson, 13 years her junior, much to Kanye's dismay.
On Sunday, meanwhile, rapper Kanye appeared to be far from amused as he arrived at a Balenciaga fashion show in New York – a brand he previously helped Kim land a fashion campaign with.
The star looked like he was trying to avoid attention whilst simultaneously attracting it by dressing all in black - sporting an oversized black t-shirt, a dark hoodie – which was up over his head – and an ill-fitting black leather jacket.
He also wore a pair acid washed black jeans and boots, but later swapped them for leather slippers.
Kim, meanwhile, was blasted by fans for allowing their daughter, North to wear a corset while out and about in Italy amid the celebrations relating to sister Kourtney' s wedding to Travis Barker.
Snaps have emerged showing North wearing the light pink coloured garment, alongside snake-skin print leggings, and a sheer, faux-fur collared summer coat.
