This won’t be music to the ears of Kanye West fans.
The hip-hop star, who now uses the stage name Ye, has dropped out of his headlining spot at the coming weekend’s Rolling Loud music festival in Miami, organizers announced.
He will be replaced by fellow rapper Kid Cudi.
“Due to circumstances outside of our control, Ye will no longer be performing at Rolling Loud Miami 2022,” read the Sunday announcement on the hip-hop music festival’s Twitter page.
West had been scheduled to co-headline the three-day event at Hard Rock Stadium with Future and Kendrick Lamar. Kid Cudi will now be the main performance on the Friday night portion of the festival.
The 45-year-old West previously canceled his headlining set at the Coachella music festival in Indio, California, in April, with The Weeknd taking his spot.
West, a 24-time Grammy winner, is known for songs such as “Jesus Walks,” “Through the Wire” and “All of the Lights.”
