Arguably the greatest tight end to ever play in the NFL, Travis Kelce will remarkably turn 34 this season - and he has no plans to stop.
The premier receiving option for Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs, Kelce remains an un-guardable option for the Chiefs - looking as quick and athletic as he ever has. But despite him creeping towards his mid-thirties, the tight end has admitted that he has no plans to retire from the game any time soon.
When asked how long he'll remain in the league for, he told Pete Sweeney of Arrowhead Pride : "Until the wheels fall off, baby. I love this game, man. I know I'm going to miss it when I'm done playing.
"I hear you on that, and that's a business decision I'm sure I'll have to make at some point in my life, but for right now, I'm in this building wanting to win football games, man."
He added: "I just love the game. I think that kind of keeps me living [like] a young, fun-loving football player, you know?
"I get to play a game for a living at the age of 33, 34, and I don't want to lose that. I don't want to lose that excitement that I had for the game when I was a kid, and every single day I get to come in with the best team, the best players, the best coaches in the world. So, it makes it easier if you just come in here and enjoy it."
Although 33, Kelce is playing arguably as well as he ever has - registering 1,338 receiving yards and 12 touchdowns in the regular season and 257 yards and four touchdowns in the playoffs with the Chiefs winning the Super Bowl.
Now with two championships and seven All-Pro's to his name, Kelce is certainly in the conversation for greatest tight end of all-time, after passing Rob Gronkowski and Shannon Sharpe for career receiving yards last season.
And with plenty of football left ahead of him, Kelce will be targeting breaking the record that former Chiefs great Tony Gonzalez set which looked to be unassailable - with Kelce 4,783 yards behind him.
The Chiefs will be among the Super Bowl favourites once again this season, with the team also said to be interested in star wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins.
