KANPUR: A police constable has been suspended after being found involved in molesting a fellow woman colleague.
The incident which took place at Kanpur Kotwali police station about seven months ago, came to light after the video of the incident went viral on Friday.
Subsequently, accused head constable Karan Singh, who is presently posted at Fazalganj police station, was suspended with immediate effect.
DCP East Pramod Kumar Singh said, “On the basis of the viral video, suspension action has been taken against the accused constable. A departmental inquiry is also being conducted against him.”
