The District Tourism Promotion Council (DTPC) will organise Kannur Kayakathon 2022, as part of the National Kayakathon, here on April 24. The DTPC has arranged an 11-km kayaking route connecting two major centres in Kannur, from the Parassinikadav boat terminal to Azhikkal port, said a release. It will feature competitions such as single and double kayaking. While single kayaking will be held separately for men and women, double kayaking would be available for both men and women, as well as a mixed category for both genders. The winning team will receive ₹50,000, an individual will receive ₹25,000 and the runners-up ₹15,000 as cash prize, the release said. For registration, visit: https;//dtpckannur.com/kayakathon.
