Vice President Kamala Harris' campaign has launched a new television and digital ad in response to recent attacks made by former President Donald Trump on the city of Detroit. During a speech in Detroit, Trump warned that the entire country could become like Detroit if Harris were to become president.
The ad, narrated by actor Courtney B. Vance, highlights the ongoing efforts to rebuild Detroit and dismisses Trump's comments by stating that he should consider himself fortunate. The ad is set to air during the Detroit Tigers ALDS game five and the Detroit Lions game this weekend as part of a substantial $370 million ad buy.
Furthermore, Harris is scheduled to visit Detroit on Tuesday, where she is expected to participate in a radio town hall event hosted by comedian, advocate, and nationally syndicated radio co-host Charlamagne tha God.
