Vice President Kamala Harris’ campaign is implementing a new attack strategy in anticipation of former President Donald Trump’s upcoming news conference in Bedminster, New Jersey. The campaign has labeled the event as 'another public meltdown' and has issued a mock media advisory criticizing Trump's anticipated remarks.
The campaign's advisory accuses Trump of planning to deliver a self-centered diatribe filled with personal grievances to divert attention from what they describe as his 'toxic Project 2025 agenda,' his unpopular running mate, and his growing disconnect from the realities of the electorate.
In a pointed jab at Trump, the campaign suggested that while his comments may not be artificial intelligence, they will certainly lack intelligence. This comment references a previous incident where Trump propagated a false conspiracy theory about Harris' Detroit crowd size and incorrectly claimed that a photo had been manipulated using artificial intelligence.
The campaign also criticized Trump for not actively campaigning in battleground states, despite his recent appearance in North Carolina. In contrast, Harris and her running mate, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, conducted a vigorous five-day campaign tour through crucial states last week.
Trump is scheduled to hold the news conference in Bedminster at 4:30 p.m. ET, where he is expected to address various issues and potentially respond to the criticisms leveled by Harris' campaign.
