Ex-Leeds United midfielder Kalvin Phillips is looking to follow in the footsteps of a number of his England colleagues under Pep Guardiola at Manchester City.
Phillips has described Guardiola as the catalyst behind his switch from Elland Road to the Citizens this summer. Guardiola has helped develop a number of the midfielder’s England teammates, including Kyle Walker, John Stones, Phil Foden and Raheem Sterling (who moved to Chelsea this summer).
Jack Grealish may yet prove to be a success at City too after a difficult maiden season but Phillips insists that he already feels at home with his new club.
