Kalidou Koulibaly posts Chelsea team news hint ahead of possible Dinamo Zagreb return

Kalidou Koulibaly has posted a timely hint that he could be back in Chelsea's starting XI after missing the previous three matches with injury.

The Senegalese defender has been absent from Graham Potter's squad since picking up a knock to his knee in the closing stages of the 0-0 draw away at Brentford. He further aggravated the injury and had to miss games against Manchester United, RB Salzburg and Brighton.

Chelsea haven't won in the league since he left, and the 31-year-old was part of the last clean sheets too as a half-time substitute against Aston Villa and playing 90 minutes against the Bees.

With Potter looking short of defensive options ahead of the final group stage game he was able to confirm that Koulibaly was eligible for selection once again, saying, "He will, provided there's no reaction. He trained today, so he was fine. He's available and in the squad tomorrow."

The Blues have already qualified as group winners and have a big game against Arsenal at Stamford Bridge to prepare for on Sunday. Given the overload of minutes in Thiago Silva's legs and Marc Cucurella's struggles at left centre-back, a fit Koulibaly will be a welcome return for Potter.

The defender has hinted at his inclusion as well, posting a picture on Twitter for the first time since Brentford.

Koulibaly started slowly at Chelsea but began to settle down under Potter before his injury and will be vital heading into the final four matches before the Premier League break.
