Police are continuing the search for 11-year-old girl Kaitlyn Easson, who has been missing from Galashiels since yesterday evening.
Authorities are appealing to the public for any information that may help trace the schoolgirl, last seen at around 5.30pm on Sunday February 5, in the town centre after leaving a friend's house. An unconfirmed second sighting of Kaitlyn has been reported on Melrose Road at about 5.45pm on the same day.
As of now, officials have do not believe that Kaitlyn has come to any harm but there are concerns for her wellbeing. Partners aiding in the search include both Borders water and mountain rescue teams.
