Lowry revealed that her son Verse's name was inspired by her 10-year-old son Lincoln, who is a huge basketball fan. Originally, Lincoln suggested the name Iverson, which was a nod to the basketball player. However, Lowry decided to modify it to Verse, which still carries a connection to Lincoln's love for the sport.
