Kailyn Lowry reveals baby twins' names and emotional journey

Kailyn Lowry

Former 'Teen Mom 2' star Kailyn Lowry recently shared the names of her newly born twins with boyfriend Elijah Scott in a TikTok video. Lowry introduced her baby girl and baby boy named Valley and Verse, respectively. The video showcased a glimpse of the twins' bedroom, complete with their cribs adorned with pink and blue blankets featuring their names.

Fans were quick to express their admiration for the unique monikers chosen by the reality star. Comments poured in, with users praising the names as 'gorgeous,' 'unique,' and complementing Lowry on her skills as a mother. Many followers even admitted that the video evoked a desire for twins of their own.

Last month, Lowry surprised her followers by announcing the arrival of her secret twins, making them her sixth and seventh children. She gave birth via C-section at 35 weeks, explaining that she had to proceed with the surgery due to the breech position of the baby. However, Valley had to remain in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) while Verse came home with Lowry and Scott.

The emotional journey of having one twin in the NICU was challenging for Lowry and Scott. The couple struggled with processing the situation as they dealt with the overwhelming circumstances. Lowry spoke about the difficult experience on her podcast, where she shared her heartfelt feelings.

The proud mother later took to Instagram to share the first photo of her newborn twins. The heartwarming image depicted Lowry cradling both babies, each wrapped in blankets and connected to their separate incubators. The photo received an outpouring of love and support from her followers.

Lowry's journey to motherhood began in 2010 when she appeared on Season 2 of '16 and Pregnant.' She welcomed her first child, Isaac, with Jo Rivera. Over the years, she became a mother once more, giving birth to son Lincoln with Javi Marroquin in 2013 and sons Lux and Creed with Chris Lopez in 2017 and 2020, respectively.

In addition to her twins, Lowry and Scott also welcomed their son Rio in November 2022, keeping the joyful news a secret. However, Lowry has now shared that she underwent a tubal ligation, indicating that she does not plan to expand her family any further.

The announcement of Valley and Verse's names brought both excitement and admiration from fans. With their unique monikers and the love and support surrounding them, it's clear that Lowry's twins are entering a world filled with love and devoted fans eagerly anticipating their growth and development.
