Kaia Gerber wore a custom Valentino gown designed by Alessandro Michele to the New York premiere of The Shards on July 27 at the SVA Theatre, WWD reports.
The column-style dress featured spaghetti straps and a semi-sheer, crystal-embellished base arranged in a diamond lattice pattern, according to WWD. Gerber's styling was handled by Emma Jade Morrison, per the outlet. She paired the look with diamond stud earrings, a feather-trimmed bag and strappy metallic silver sandals secured with thin ankle and toe bands, WWD reports.
Gerber stars in The Shards, the FX limited series based on Bret Easton Ellis's novel, as Susan Reynolds. The series premieres August 5.
Gerber's mother, Cindy Crawford, did not walk the red carpet at the premiere. Marie Claire reports Crawford instead attended the after-party at El Quijote, a restaurant inside the Chelsea Hotel, where she wore a turquoise silk dress with waist ruching and a thigh-high slit, paired with gold gladiator-style sandals, gold hoop earrings, a chainlink bracelet and an indigo clutch. Marie Claire notes Crawford's sandals echoed the strap silhouette of her daughter's premiere shoes.
