Kai Kennedy showed a real touch of class as he curled home a stunning free-kick for Falkirk at Montrose.
The on loan Rangers winger has been a key player for the Scottish League One outfit with his midweek double taking his tally to an impressive seven goals and ten assists in all competitions for the Bairns. His first goal of the game was a looped header before he made it two from the dead ball situation just six minutes later to put the visitors in total control. The home side did grab a late goal back to make for an interesting finale in difficult conditions but the Scottish Cup semi-finalists held out to claim a big three points on the road.
The result pushes them five points clear of Airdrie - who they face this coming weekend - with a 12 point cushion over Queen of the South in fifth spot with just four games to play with a play-off position all but now secured as they bid to end the season on an almighty high.
