Kai Cenat calls Kanye West’s Bully a “banger” despite being dragged into his rollout drama months earlier

Kai Cenat didn’t overthink his reaction to Bully. He just spoke like a listener who hit play and felt something click. The popular streamer, who once found himself caught in the chaos around Kanye West’s rollout, is now giving the project genuine praise. That shift alone has caught attention online.

What makes this moment stand out is the history behind it. Cenat was not just another fan waiting for the album. He was unexpectedly pulled into the conversation months ago, leaving him confused and even slightly suspicious. Now, instead of revisiting that tension, he is talking about the music. And his tone feels real.

Kai Cenat’s reaction feels honest and unfiltered

There is no performance in the way Cenat talks about the album. He sounds like someone who pressed play without expectations and came away impressed.

“I am not going to lie. This was a banger album,” Cenat said at the very end of the stream. “I feel like he didn't do too much overly experimental shit. I feel like he did just enough. You feel me? I ain't gonna lie. I like this one. I really like this one, honestly. I’ll f**k with it.”

That kind of reaction matters, especially when it comes from someone who had every reason to be skeptical. Kanye West has built a reputation for pushing boundaries, sometimes to the point where listeners feel left behind. With Bully, it seems he found a balance that lands better with a wider audience.

The album brings together a mix of sounds and voices, with features from Travis Scott, CeeLo Green, and Don Toliver. Behind the scenes, producers like James Blake help shape that direction. The result feels more controlled, less scattered.

It is also hard to ignore how different things look compared to earlier this year. Back then, Cenat was trying to make sense of a strange moment where he appeared to be part of the album rollout without warning.

“But it’s the most random thing. Like, I wanna pick at his brain, and I wonder why. Oh my god. He’s trying to call me a dehydrated horse. Oh my god. What can this mean? Is he gonna diss me?”

That confusion eventually turned into something calmer after a direct message from Kanye West.

“Oh my gosh. Kanye just texted me,” Cenat said. “Kanye said, ‘Happy new year, family.’ I’m not lying to you. … The beef is over, chat. The beef is over.”

Now, with the album out and the tension gone, Cenat’s reaction feels like a closing chapter. Less drama, more music. And for once, that seems to be enough.
