Juventus 'reignite interest' in Aymeric Laporte and other Man City transfer rumours

Juventus have reportedly 'reignited' their interest in Manchester City defender Aymeric Laporte.

According to Corriere Dello Sport, the Serie A giants are keen on adding the Spaniard to their defensive for next season. They claim that City consider Laporte as 'transferable' this summer with Maximiliano Allegri apparently looking to strengthen his backline.

Laporte has been instrumental to the Blues' success this season. The 28-year-old made 44 appearances during the 2021/22 campaign and was widely praised for playing through injury in the last two games of the season to help City get over the line in the Premier League title race.

Elsewhere, City are reportedly in the race to sign talented teenage goalkeeper Rory Mahady. Football Scotland claimed back in November that the 15-year-old was of interest to the Blues.

Due to his age, Mahady cannot sign a pro deal until he is 16 but the media outlet believes that the youngster is set to leave Celtic soon. The Hoops have attempted to keep hold of the goalkeeper but it is now claimed that they are resigned to losing him.

Should City want to sign the teenager they will have to fend off interest from both Tottenham Hotspur and Leeds United who are both also keen on his services.
