A New South Wales man is on trial for allegedly sexually assaulting two women he met on the Tinder dating app.
Justin Kane Millington has pleaded not guilty to sexually abusing two women in October 2020 and October 2021.
Crown prosecutor Kristy Mulley told Newcastle District Court Mr Millington met the women online using assumed names.
"This trial is about what happened to two women when they were on separate dates with this accused after meeting him on the dating app Tinder," Ms Mulley said.
She said Mr Millington had sexual intercourse with his first alleged victim five times on October 7, 2020.
The jury was told Mr Millington met with the woman at Belmont in Lake Macquarie and they then took a walk on popular hiking and cycling trail, the Fernleigh Track.
The court heard the woman was first sexually touched at a lookout and froze, before following him further down the track.
Once on a track headed to Nine Mile Beach, Ms Mulley said the woman was forced into bushes and then pushed to the ground.
Ms Mulley said Mr Mulligan paused and said "I am going to violate you now" before he allegedly forced the woman to have sexual intercourse five times.
After the alleged attack, the court heard the woman sought medical help and was examined by sexual assault doctor Shalu Singh.
Dr Singh on Wednesday told the court she examined the woman, who also verbally gave an account of the alleged attacks.
"She said they were walking through the track and he took her into the bush and said I'm going to take advantage of you know," Dr Singh said.
"She froze and she was afraid."
Dr Singh said the woman did not have any injuries to her vagina but she noted the woman had bruising on her knee.
The court heard vaginal penetration could occur without causing any injuries.
A male friend of the woman also gave evidence on Wednesday.
Defence barrister Bill Hussey asked the man "was it true the woman did not want to go to police about this".
"Yes, that is correct," the friend replied.
Second woman comes forward
Ms Mulley said a second alleged victim came forward as police were investigating Mr Millington in relation to the first alleged rape.
She said the woman was allegedly sexually touched against her will in October 2021.
The court heard that woman also met Mr Millington on Tinder.
Ms Mulley said the pair met up at another local beach.
She said Mr Millington feigned a kidney problem and needed water, then asked to go to the woman's home.
"The accused then said to her 'how about we go into the bedroom and see if we are compatible in there'," Ms Mulley said.
She replied "Ahh nup" and they continued to talk, the court heard.
The court heard Mr Millington was about to leave when he grabbed the woman and sexually touched her against her will five times.
"She was still struggling and saying 'stop'," Ms Mulley said.
She said the woman managed to get up and said "time for you to go".
She told the court Mr Millington left when the woman's dog barked at him.
The Crown alleges there was no consent during any of the encounters Mr Millington had with the women.
Mr Hussey rejected that and said there was consent and there were no sexual assaults.
The trial continues.
