The Associated Press released their All-Pro team on Friday morning and there were only two unanimous selections in Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Justin Jefferson and Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce.
The voting is pretty simple. They have 50 different writers and analysts fill out a ballot filling out a first team and second team and they tally the votes to build the first and second team.
What was surprising is that only Jefferson and Kelce received 50 votes. The likely unanimous MVP this season Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes only received 49 votes. San Francisco 49ers edge rusher Nick Bosa and Kansas City Chiefs defensive tackle Chris Jones also received 49 votes.
There weren’t a ton of surprises with the All-Pro voting, but this was arguably the biggest one.
