The 2024 NFL season is confusing as many fanbases and teams are unsure of what lies ahead. For the Minnesota Vikings, ever since the injury to rookie J.J. McCarthy. It immediately casts a shadow over their entire offseason process and has people casting severe doubts at the team.
Justin Jefferson, though, uses it all for motivation.
The All-Pro wide receiver was on The Alec Lewis Show and asked about the team’s feelings, specifically if they feel everyone outside of the facility is underrating them.
“Yeah, we’re underrated, but that’s kind of understandable with the new guys that’s in the building. No one really knows how this team is going to pan out. But we love that.”
The feeling of being underrated isn’t new for the Minnesota Vikings, especially for some of the veterans on the roster. Coming off a disappointing 2023, expectations were going to be high. The road has been bumpy going into 2024, but the team remains optimistic.
Jefferson has the added pressure of his new contract, but he seemingly is unfazed by it all. It will be business as usual against the Giants for Jefferson and the team.
