Justin Herbert is the present and future face of the Los Angeles Chargers … the entire organization.
He was rewarded Tuesday for the lofty role with a massive contract. Call it 5 years with the potential to be worth $262.5 million.
For starters, 2023 will be worth a tidy $100 million to the QB. The sweetest of deals includes a no-trade clause, $133.7 million in full guarantees, and $193.7 million in injury guarantees.
Herbert is 25-24 in three seasons. He lost his lone playoff appearance when the Chargers collapsed against the Jaguars last season.
He has thrown for 14,089 yards and 94 touchdowns.
