It’s one thing to be thought of highly by your coaches, but to players, it often means more when your peers give you the nod of approval.
Each year, NFL.com asks the players to rank their peers and publish a list called the “NFL Top 100.” The list of names always has several Ohio State players included, but this year, for the first time, former Buckeye and current Chicago Bears quarterback Justin Fields has been ranked by other NFL players, coming in at No. 86.
It’s the first time a Chicago quarterback has made the NFL 100 ranking and it all has to do with what Fields showed at the end of last season with his legs. Many expect him to have a superstar-type breakout year and build upon what we all saw in the last half of the 2022-2023 season.
