Justin Baldoni’s lawyer has expressed his 'surprise' over Ryan Reynolds’ comment at Saturday Night Live’s 50th anniversary special, which fans believe referenced his wife, Blake Lively's ongoing legal drama with the 'It Ends With Us' director.

During the special, SNL veterans Tina Fey and Amy Poehler engaged with the audience when Reynolds raised his hand. Fey acknowledged him, saying, “Ryan Reynolds, how’s it going?” to which Reynolds playfully responded, “Great! Why, what have you heard?” The remark drew laughter from the crowd, with many speculating it was an indirect jibe at the lawsuits Baldoni and Blake filed against each other.
