A jury will be brought in to decide the cause of death of a Nottingham man who passed away at work. A coroner has set a date for the inquest to examine the death of Anthony Watson, also known as Tony.
Coroner Laurinda Bower has opened the administrative hearing at the Nottingham Council House in Old Market Square on Monday, March 27. She said that a jury will be brought into the hearing and will be presented with evidence.
The inquest is estimated to take five days, and will take place on July 31. A number of people have attended the pre-inquest hearing, including Mr Watson's wife, Michelle Watson. Alexandra Poutney represented the family at the hearing.

Sandresh Singh, representing Mr Watson's employer, also attended the hearing. Polly Gedes will be the solicitor for the company.
Nottingham City Environmental Health represented by Bernard Thorogood also attended the hearing. Sarah Mills, solicitor, Catrin Styles, Principal Environmental Health Officer, and Paul Dales, Chief Environmental Health Officer were also in attendance.
Ms Bower has concluded the pre-inquest hearing by passing her condolences to the family of Mr Watson. She added: "I would like to convey my deepest condolences."
Nottinghamshire Live previously reported that Mr Watson died on July 11 last year while working at flooring distributors Cheshires of Nottingham.
