Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has warned his players that it will be a mistake to focus solely on Erling Haaland in their clash with Manchester City at the weekend.
Haaland has 20 goals in all competitions this season for City, all coming in the 12 games following the Community Shield defeat against Liverpool in August. He was rested in the Champions League draw at Copenhagen, and would be expected to start at Anfield to try and continue his run of scoring in seven consecutive league games, fitness permitting.
However, while Klopp praised Haaland as the best striker in the world at present, he also made it clear to his Liverpool squad that City have plenty of other world-class players behind him that will need stopping as well.
