Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has once again complained about fixture congestion as he prepares his side for what could be a decisive showdown with Southampton.
The Reds travel to St Mary’s on Tuesday evening aiming to keep their hopes of winning the Premier League title - and with it the possibility of completing an unprecedented quadruple - alive. Klopp’s men have to win to keep themselves in with a chance of claiming the title.
A draw would see the gap to Manchester City reduced to three points but Pep Guardiola’s men would hold a far superior goal difference heading into the final day of the season meaning that they would be all-but champions in everything but name. A loss would of course hand the trophy back to the reigning champions.
