Meanwhile, Seagulls midfielder Mac Allister could move the other way and is believed to be one of Liverpool's first-choice transfer targets ahead of revamping their midfield this summer.
Klopp was asked about about both players at his pre-match press conference ahead of facing Brentford. And he would hint that Milner is set to move on, without wanting to confirm the midfielder's decision when praising his vice-captain.
