Jurgen Klopp has played down concerns about Mohamed Salah's recent form in front of goal and insists there is no need for him to hold specific talks with the Liverpool forward.
The Egyptian is the Reds' top scorer this season with 28 goals and currently leads the way for the Premier League Golden Boot with 20. However, recent hat-tricks from Son Heung-Min and Cristiano Ronaldo see Salah under pressure to win the award for a third time with seven games of the season remaining.
Without a goal in his last six matches, and having not scored from open play since mid-February, the 29-year-old has only netted three penalties from his last 11 appearances, prompting growing concerns about his form. On the back of international heartache after losing the Africa Cup of Nations final and failing to qualify for this year's World Cup, there have also been suggestions the striker is simply fatigued, or even distracted by talk of his future with his contract at Anfield set to expire in 2023 and there currently no sign of any resolution with Liverpool bosses.
