Jurgen Klopp has explained exactly what he said to referee Anthony Taylor following his sending off during Liverpool's 1-0 win over Manchester City on Sunday.
The German was given his marching orders following his appeals after Mohamed Salah appeared to be fouled by City midfielder Bernardo Silva. No decision was subsequently given and attempted to Klopp take matters into his own hands by charging down the touchline to confront the assistant official at Anfield.
Salah's goal in the second half proved pivotal during an entertaining contest, as Pep Guardiola's side were beaten for the first time this season in the Premier League. City next face Brighton this weekend at the Etihad.

Liverpool manager Klopp has since revealed the conversation he had with referee Taylor following the game, stating: "I think I will be there tomorrow because nothing has really happened yet. I don't think something will happen tomorrow to be honest, a few hours before the game.
"I know where David (Moyes) was coming from, that's clear. I still think I should have dealt differently with the situation. I do usually."
He added: "I explained after the game, in this moment you could not bring me in this mood. No chance. But the whole game led to that maybe a little bit,. The way it went, the way it was a very, very intense game with a lot of decisions which both managers didn't understand on both sides.
"For me it was like, I don't know, in Germany we say, 'the one drop that made the bucket overflow.' I'm not happy with my reaction but that's the way it was and everybody saw it.
"I was sitting after the game in the office of Anthony Taylor and spoke, completely calmly, about all the situations. How I saw the game, how he saw the game. It was a completely calm discussion. That's the situation. I got a red card and now we wait for the process."
