Jurgen Klopp is determined Liverpool will not give up their title hopes without a fight despite admitting he cannot envisage Manchester City dropping any points during the run-in.
The Reds missed the chance to open up a gap at the top of the table when they were held to a 1-1 draw against Tottenham Hotspur at Anfield on Saturday evening.
With three games to play, Liverpool moved ahead on goal difference from City, who play their game in hand at home to Newcastle United on Sunday.

Luis Diaz earned the Reds a draw when his deflected effort cancelled out an opener just after half-time by Son Heung-Min.
And Klopp said: “It is an important point because it is one point more than the game but we all know the situation. We are now top of the table.
“My favourite situation is if we and City lose all our remaining games and we stay top but we all know it will not be like this!
“The boys are more disappointed than I am, that might be because of my age and I saw so many things in my life. But we will go again. There were so many good things tonight, the counter-press, if you call sell it is unbelievable, I am so proud of that.
“In moments, a little bit better decision-making. We could have won but we all know we could have lost as well because they are insane in their counter-attacking. That’s what they want to do and I saw a lot of the things we want to do, but not the result we wished for.”
Assessing the title race, Klopp added: “I would love here to sit here and say yes, City will drop points. The only problem is that I can’t see it. I wish I could think differently about it, but I can’t see it. But we will see what happens. My problem in the moment is not City against Newcastle, it is that we play Tuesday against Aston Villa.
“One point more than before, good, from the situation of 1-0 down it is massively better, the goal really counts, but it was not exactly what we wanted. Now we have to deal with it but we will. We will try to prepare as soon as possible and be ready for Aston Villa which will be tough as well.”
