Jurgen Klopp has confirmed that Liverpool and Mohamed Salah are no closer to agreeing terms over a new contract.

The Egyptian's current deal at Anfield expires in 2023, with the forward free to discuss a pre-contract agreement with overseas clubs from January.

Both Salah and Klopp have both spoken publicly this season about their desire for the 29-year-old to stay at Liverpool.
