Jurgen Klopp makes major Erling Haaland transfer admission
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp believes Manchester City's potential signing of Erling Haaland can push the transfer market to "new levels."
The Norway international is expected to leave Borussia Dortmund in the summer and has been linked with a number of European football's biggest clubs, including Liverpool.
Reports on Monday suggest it is likely to be City who secure Haaland's signature, as they are set to meet the £67 million release clause in the striker's Dortmund contract. Given his pedigree and potential, plenty would regard that as a bargain fee for the 21-year-old sensation.

However, it has been reported that Haaland may eventually end up costing around £250million by the time commissions and wages are paid to the player over the course of his contract.
Klopp has recently signed a new contract with Liverpool, meaning the Reds are likely to remain City's main opposition for silverware in the coming years, both domestically and in Europe.
The Liverpool boss said he's up for the fight when it comes to stopping City, although conceded that Haaland's potential arrival will make Liverpool's main competitors even stronger.

Sadio Mane 'holds talks' with European giant
Sadio Mane has reportedly held talks over a move that would see him leave Liverpool this summer.
The Reds forward is under contract at Anfield until the summer of 2023, after which time he would have been at the club for seven years. Since arriving in 2016, the Senegalese international has scored 117 goals in 264 appearances.
Despite having a little over a year left on his current deal, there have been very little rumours or suggestions that a possible extension is on the cards. Much of the hype has been surrounding the future of Mohamed Salah, whose contract runs out the same summer as Mane.
According to Sky Sports Germany reporter Florian Plettenberg, Bayern Munich sporting director Hasan Salihamidzic has held talks with Mane’s agent over a possible move this summer. It has been claimed that Bayern are keen to make a “statement signing” this summer, with Mane a target.
The report states that there are yet to be any negotiations between Liverpool and Bayern over a deal for Mane. It has also been claimed that talks between the Reds and Mane over a possible extension are “difficult”.
