Manchester City striker Erling Haaland has enjoyed a stunning debut season since making the move from Borussia Dortmund last summer.
The 22-year-old has struck 51 goals in 47 appearances in all competitions so far, with City still in contention to win the treble. 35 of Haaland's goals have come in the Premier League, meaning he has broken Mohamed Salah's record for the most in a 38-game season.
However, despite Liverpool's own struggles this season, Salah has once again enjoyed a prolific campaign as he hit 30 goals in all competitions for the third consecutive year in a row when he scored the winner against Brentford last weekend.
And when asked if Salah's record and achievements have been overlooked this season due to Haaland's remarkable campaign, Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp replied: "No. Not from us. Not from the Liverpool supporters. Maybe from you? I don't know.
"He will be an all-time great after he finishes his career, but he is still in his career. If you see Mo every day, [you will see] there are still a good few years [left] in his legs and in his body so the numbers will even improve and that's absolutely great.
"We don't overlook it, but if the question's asked that often then you might be guilty to overlook it. I don't know." Liverpool have won their last six league games to make a late push for a top four spot with the Reds now just one point off Champions League qualification, albeit having played on game more than Manchester United.
Klopp has repeatedly played down Liverpool's chances of breaking into the top four, but he is beginning to feel more confident with just three league games to go. He said: "We were around when miracles happened, that's true. But it was then, still, in our hands.
"Now we have to win, but that does not mean anything changes, because the other teams could win all their games - that's the difference. I know that weeks ago, it was completely out of sight, I couldn't see it at all.
"But that didn't mean that we will not try to closer. That's the only thing we did: got closer. It's still more likely Manchester United will win and if they finish the season above, they deserve it."
