Jurgen Klopp makes Mohamed Salah admission as Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain could leave Liverpool

Your Liverpool morning headlines for Saturday, April 2

Jurgen Klopp makes Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane admission at Liverpool

Jurgen Klopp is not expecting World Cup heartache to hold Mohamed Salah back as Liverpool gear up for a potentially season-defining April.

Salah missed a penalty for Egypt in a penalty shootout against Senegal earlier this week as Sadio Mane's side secured their place at this year's World Cup in Qatar at the expense of his Reds' team-mate.

It marks the second time this year Egypt have lost out in a vital shootout to the Senegalese following the Africa Cup of Nations final in Cameroon back in February. Despite Salah's tough luck at international level, the winger has again been in superb form for Klopp's side and is once more top of the club's scoring charts with 28 so far across all competitions.

Oxlade-Chamberlain's contract is set to expire in 2023 and question marks remain over his future as he continues to struggle for regular game time.
